Penn State Erie, The Behrend College and the Sam & Irene Black School of Business is sponsoring the 39th Annual Meeting of the MWDSI in Erie on April 17 – 19, 2008. We are joined by Edinboro University, Gannon University and Mercyhurst College in sponsoring this regional event to be held at the Courtyard Marriott – Erie on upper Peach Street.
While normally an academic conference, we are issuing Erie Business Leaders a special invitation to hear our keynote speaker on Friday afternoon and to attend the Networking Reception to follow. The keynote speaker will be Albert H. Brinkman, Director of Equity Derivatives Marketing for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
Following Mr. Brinkman’s presentation, there will be a Networking Reception featuring appetizers and a cash bar. In addition to Mr. Brinkman, several other special guests from Midwest and Northeast Universities will be in attendance. These are top researchers and instructors in the latest business concepts and tools. They will also be circulating and available for conversations.
Seats to hear Mr. Brinkman are free. Tickets for the reception following the talk are $20 per person.
